Terms

Last updated 21 October 2026

Jimmy is a workout log you keep by texting a number in Apple Messages. By texting Jimmy, you agree to these terms.

The pilot

Jimmy is in a private pilot. Features may change, pause or stop while it's being built, and it isn't guaranteed to always be available. If the pilot is ending, you'll get a text first.

Using Jimmy

Not medical advice

Jimmy records what you lifted and suggests what to try next, using simple rules applied to your own logged sets. It does not give medical, injury, nutrition or supplement advice. Listen to your body, stop if something hurts, and speak to a qualified professional about injuries or health conditions. You're responsible for how you train.

Check what Jimmy saved

Jimmy can misread a message. Every reply shows what was saved, so check it. Reply actually … to fix a set, or undo to take one back. When Jimmy isn't sure, it asks instead of guessing.

Messages from Jimmy

Jimmy replies to what you send. Reminders and weekly recaps arrive only if you turn them on. STOP ends every message from Jimmy at any time, and START brings it back.

Price

The pilot is free. If paid plans launch later, you'll be told the price before anything is charged, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.

Your log

Your workout log is yours. You let Jimmy store and process it so the service can run, as described in the privacy page. You can ask for a copy or for it to be deleted at any time.

Responsibility

Jimmy is provided as it is, while it's being built. To the extent the law allows, Jimmy isn't responsible for losses from relying on its logs or suggestions, or from it being unavailable.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date above changes too and pilot users get a text about it.
