Jimmy is a workout log you keep by texting. This page explains what Jimmy keeps from those texts, who helps run it, and how to have it all deleted.

What Jimmy keeps

Voice notes and photos

When you send a voice note, Jimmy turns it into text and keeps the text. The audio file is deleted as soon as it has been transcribed. Photos work the same way: Jimmy reads the sets from the picture, keeps what it read, and doesn't store the image.

If you join the waitlist

The waitlist form asks for your name, email, iPhone number, how long you've been training, and anything else you'd like to add. These are kept only to invite you to the pilot: your email gets the invite and Jimmy's number, and your iPhone number is added to the pilot so Jimmy can reply to you. Ask and they're deleted.

How Jimmy uses it

Only to run Jimmy: to log your sets, compare them with your history, answer your questions, and send the reminders and recaps you asked for. Jimmy has no ads, and your data is never sold.

Who helps run Jimmy

Your numbers never come from the model. History, comparisons and progressions are calculated by Jimmy's own code from the sets you logged.

How long it's kept

Jimmy is in a private pilot. During the pilot your data is kept until you ask for it to be deleted or the pilot ends.

Your choices

Keeping it safe

Access to Jimmy's server and accounts is limited, and keys are kept out of the code. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong that affects your data, you'll hear about it by text.

Age

Jimmy is not meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date above changes too and pilot users get a text about it.
